Choosing the right school for your child can feel overwhelming with so many options available. Luckily, Tucson Unified School District offers a variety of magnet schools that provide specialized programs tailored to different interests and learning styles. These schools give students the opportunity to dive deeper into subjects they’re passionate about while gaining a strong academic foundation.
What Are Magnet Schools?
Magnet schools are public schools with a special theme or focus, such as science, art, language, or project-based learning. They’re called “magnet”
schools because their specialized programs draw in students from across the district—giving them the chance to learn in ways that feel exciting,
relevant, and engaging.
