You can apply for Magnet and Application Placement schools for the school year 2026-2027 between Monday, November 3, 2025, and Friday, January 9, 2026, to be eligible for the First Lottery.
Tucson Unified School District is an open-enrollment district, and all students are welcome at all schools when space is available.
Magnet and Application Placement schools require an application to enroll for the first time, unless you live in the school’s neighborhood: Find Your School
Most of TUSD schools do not require an application (see Greenlight Schools).
For your neighborhood school or for Greenlight schools, please skip the application and register your child.
Registration for the 2026-27 academic year opens on November 3, 2025.
